Coach Kelly is feared by opponents but endeared by her players. After 18 years of coaching volleyball at both the school and club levels (8 years of HS Varsity), she is most passionate about creating a positive atmosphere for young athletes to solidify fundamental skills. Kelly believes that positive coaching sets her teams up for success. She can activate the best performance from each athlete through motivation and encouragement. She expects great things and raises the vision of her teams. Kelly has implemented Gold Medal Squared with all of her teams over her entire coaching career creating a ‘complete it with a purpose’ or ‘mindfulness’ mentality.

Brooke Gill

SPECIALIST & VERTICAL/RESISTANCE TRAINING COACH

Brooke is fiercely loyal to her athletes and quickly earns their trust. She enjoys utilizing research-based coaching methods to meticulously plan each minute of practice. Above all, Brooke is deeply passionate about the emotional well-being of every athlete, and provides a safe place for them to grow. Brooke has 4 years of coaching experience at both the junior high and club levels. As head coach at Kaysville Jr. High, Brooke focuses on building confidence and skill through high energy, team focused drills. She is trained in Gold Medal Squared and specializes in front row attacking and setting.

  • Lindsay Cook - 13 Peak Coach

    After many successful years on the volleyball court and lacrosse field, Lindsay seamlessly transitioned into the coaching world. While coaching high school lacrosse she refined her leadership skills and later began coaching her daughter's volleyball teams. Lindsay continues to thrive in the world of sports, and is an active participant in adult leagues and events. She believes deeply in building a strong foundation and emphasizes the importance of developing critical skills. Winning is fun, but good volleyball is better!

  • Lori Cummings - 11 Ace Coach

    Coach Lori believes that sports go beyond the gym, which is why she fully embraces the Positive Coaching Alliance philosophy of developing the whole athlete. She sees the lessons learned in volleyball as invaluable life skills that extend well beyond the court. With a degree in Physical Education Teaching, Lori brings a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of how to help new players build a solid foundation in volleyball through proper technique and strong habits. Her commitment to both the physical and mental growth of her players makes her a dedicated and inspiring coach.

  • Avery Goodfellow - 14 Power Coach

    Coach Avery has hit the ground running at Platinum, bringing a strong work ethic and a natural leadership style. She leads by example, setting high standards and inspiring her athletes to follow suit. Avery is dedicated to her own growth as a coach, regularly completing Gold Medal Squared training and other certifications to stay ahead of the curve. Her commitment to continuous learning ensures she’s always prepared to support her players’ development. Above all, Coach Avery is deeply invested in the success of her athletes. She is committed to doing whatever it takes to help them reach their full potential, creating an environment where they can strive for excellence both on and off the court.

  • Chris Grover - 17 Power Coach

    Chris started after high school playing outdoor volleyball at all levels for years, often taking 1st place in the tournaments he competed in. Eventually his passion to continue to compete in volleyball led him to try out for and make the team at Utah Valley State College, where he played Division 1 club in the late 90's early 2000's as an outside hitter. During his time playing for Utah Valley State College, his team placed 2nd and 3rd in the nation. Chris’ love for volleyball has never left him and he is excited to coach young athletes to help them develop a similar passion and excitement for this amazing sport.

  • Erin Halbasch - 14 Ridge Coach

    Coach Erin has been immersed in volleyball from a young age, playing both school and competitive volleyball throughout her youth as a defensive specialist. Erin continued to play in adult leagues during and after college, staying connected to the game she loves. With a year of coaching experience at Layton High School, Erin is excited to continue learning the ins and outs of coaching while building strong connections with her players. She is passionate about helping her team grow, both on and off the court. Her love for family and adventure fuels her coaching approach, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and a personal touch to everything she does.

  • Taylor Hein - 15 Summit Coach, 16 Peak Coach

    Coach Taylor brings over a decade of competitive volleyball experience and a deep passion for the sport to her coaching. Taylor is dedicated to helping each player grow, develop, and reach their full potential. Her volleyball journey began at age eight in her hometown in North Carolina, where she excelled in both indoor and beach volleyball. As her skills evolved, Taylor shifted her focus to full-time beach volleyball, expanding her game knowledge and versatility. As a coach, Taylor creates a supportive and empowering environment where players can thrive. She finds her greatest joy in sharing her love for the sport and watching her athletes grow—not only as players but as individuals.

  • Alli Hillyard - 14 Summit Coach, 16 Power Assistant

    Alli’s played club volleyball 2019-2023 before continuing her career as an opposite/outside hitter at Everett Community College. After wrapping up her final season there, she’s excited to be back home and bring her experience and passion for the game to coaching. Alli has coached for two years, including a season with a 14U team in Washington, where she developed a strong connection with the players and helped them grow on and off the court. This year, she is eager to continue sharing her love for the sport, inspiring young athletes to improve, compete, and truly enjoy the game.

  • Jamie Holbrook - 17 Power Assistant

    As a player, Jamie made her mark racking up countless awards, including Southern Arizona Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All Region Honors. More important to Coach Jamie than filling a trophy case is fostering a passion for volleyball and life in others. Sidelined due to injury prior to accepting a college scholarship, she now looks forward to making her mark helping athletes sharpen their skills and become mentally tough during her third season coaching with Platinum Volleyball.

  • Dallas Horn - 16 Power Coach

    Dallas has been around volleyball since birth and fell in love with the sport after her very first season. After many years of hard work, she earned the opportunity to play at the nationally ranked Central Wyoming College. With 7 years of coaching experience at various high schools and clubs throughout Utah, Dallas has developed a reputation for fostering competitive, hardworking athletes. She holds high expectations for her players and pushes them to give their best in every practice and match. When Dallas isn’t coaching, you can find her in the mountains or training for her upcoming triathlon, constantly challenging herself both physically and mentally. Her drive and determination are a reflection of the mindset she instills in her athletes.

  • Chandler Massey - 16 Apex Coach

    Chandler began coaching right after high school, immediately diving into her passion for volleyball. As head coach at West High School from 2021 to 2022, she led the team to consecutive state qualifications and secured second place in the region in the latter year, a deeply rewarding achievement. Recently, Chandler contributed as an assistant coach at American Preparatory Academy for JV/Varsity, helping clinch the region title and achieve strong results in the state tournament. With nearly 9 years dedicated to coaching volleyball, she proudly continues her family's sports legacy, inspired by her father and brothers who are basketball coaches.

  • Amanda Nelson - 15 Apex Coach

    Amanda brings 16 years of coaching experience to the court, starting her coaching journey straight out of Morgan High School, where she played a pivotal role in securing three state championships. After coaching high school and club teams for 15 years, Amanda took a hiatus to focus on her family. Now, she’s returned with a passion as strong as ever. A dedicated student of the game, Amanda is committed to nurturing each player's potential, believing that volleyball imparts invaluable life lessons and prepares individuals for their futures. Her mission is to ignite a love for volleyball in everyone she meets.

  • Amy Patterson - 12 Ace Coach

    Amy started playing volleyball in 7th grade and has been passionate about the game ever since. As a coach, she focuses on creating a positive, supportive environment where players can develop their skills while learning valuable life lessons like teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Amy enjoys photography, exercising, and gardening in her free time. Her commitment to both the sport and her players' personal growth makes her a dedicated and inspiring coach.

  • Camille Smith - 14 Apex Coach

    Camille began her volleyball journey in junior high and went on to excel as a multi-sport athlete, lettering in volleyball, basketball, and softball at Bountiful High School. She boasts eight years of high school coaching experience at Bountiful and Clearfield High Schools, where she led Clearfield to a State Championship match. After supporting her daughters through their own high school and club volleyball careers, Camille is excited to make her return to volleyball coaching. She is passionate about the Platinum Volleyball program and eager to help athletes reach their full potential both on and off the court.

  • Nanette Stucki - 13 Summit Coach

    Nanette believes that sports are to be enjoyed, not endured. As a Coach and Certified Personal Trainer she thrives in competition, but prioritizes building confidence in her athletes. Nanette holds a degree in Exercise Science and looks forward to each new season of helping her athletes unlock new skills and develop their passion for volleyball. During her first season at Platinum, we saw her team continue to compete at higher levels while having the most fun doing it.

  • Ben Thomas - 17 Apex Coach

    Ben started playing volleyball when he was a junior in high school. He quickly grew to love the sport and kept playing through college on the Utah State University Volleyball Club team. During those years, he played wherever and whenever he could, whether it was 2v2 sand or grass, or 6v6 indoor and anything in between. Ben loves the hard work, discipline, camaraderie, and accountability that competition instills in those who compete. While winning is always more fun, Ben believes the most important thing is to help his team play to their potential. While there is no shame in losing to a better team, if a team can play to their potential, they are going to win a lot.

  • Michelle Vimahi - 14 Peak Coach

    Michelle has been passionate about volleyball since she was 12 years old. She played at Layton High School before continuing her career at Snow College for two years. After high school, Michelle returned to Layton High as a coach, spending six years with the program—first as an assistant coach and then as head coach for three years. During her time there, she had the opportunity to coach several players who went on to compete at top programs like BYU, the University of Utah, and Weber State. Michelle is passionate about helping athletes improve every day, develop a love for the game, and reach their full potential both on and off the court.

  • Savannah Wareham - 15 Peak Coach

    Coach Savannah’s love for volleyball began at age 12 and has only grown stronger over the years. She played at Fremont High and then went on to Colorado Northwestern Community College, where she became team captain after just one semester. Her passion for the game shines through in her coaching, which she has been doing since 2019. Savannah believes volleyball has shaped her in ways that extend beyond the court, teaching her life skills like teamwork, perseverance, and discipline. As a coach, she’s driven by the opportunity to inspire others to not only improve their skills but to also develop a deep love for the sport, just as she has.

  • Josh Wood - 13 Ridge Coach

    Coach Josh brings a strong passion for volleyball and years of experience to the team. With five years of playing experience and collegiate-level competition at Utah Tech University, Josh has developed a deep understanding of the game and its nuances. As a coach, Josh is committed to sharing his love for the sport, helping athletes grow both on and off the court. His goal is to inspire players to develop their skills, foster teamwork, and embrace the joy of the game. Coach Josh believes in creating a positive and supportive environment where athletes can thrive and grow as athletes and individuals.

Specialist Coaches

  • Rachael Dixon - Mental Skills Coach

    Rachael enhances the Platinum Squad as a positional and mental skills coach. She spent 15 years coaching club and high school volleyball in San Diego, and brings more than just experience to our Platinum athletes. As our club's dedicated sports psychologist, Rachael will support all teams and coaches in reaching their full potential through cutting edge mental skills strategies and techniques. She is eager to get involved in helping athletes enhance their performance and realize their goals.

  • Kellie Henry - Specialist Coach

    After a successful collegiate volleyball career at Snow College and Weber State, Kellie's coaching career began and her relentless desire to share her passion for the sport took off. For many years, Kellie found joy on the sideline, developing athletes of all ages and playing the game herself. To this day she actively participates in leagues and tournaments, sharing her passion for volleyball while caring for four amazing children at home.
